Wood Selection & Acclimation
We help you choose the right species and grade. Wood is delivered and acclimated to your home's humidity and temperature.
Subfloor Preparation
We level, clean, and — if needed — repair your subfloor. A solid, flat base is non-negotiable for a lasting installation.
Installation
Boards are laid with the correct method (nail-down, glue-down, or floating), cut precisely, and fitted tight. Every row is checked for alignment.
Final Finish & Sanding (if needed)
Unfinished hardwood gets sanded, stained (optional), and sealed on-site with Bona Traffic HD for maximum durability.
Inspection & Handoff
We do a full walkthrough with you, address any concerns, and leave you with care instructions and warranty documentation.

What We Use on Every Project
We install all major hardwood species — oak (most common), maple, hickory, walnut, ash, and cherry — in widths from 2¼" strip to 7"+ wide planks. For prefinished products we work with leading brands including Shaw, Bruce, Anderson, and Mullican. Site-finished floors receive our preferred topcoat: Bona Traffic HD, a commercial-grade waterborne finish that resists traffic and UV.
For engineered hardwood — ideal for basements, over concrete, or radiant heat — we use moisture-tested glue-down or floating methods with appropriate underlayment.
